Brilliant reframing of the issue. The insight that influence has shifted from uniform mass persuasion to individualized, probabilistic manipulation is key here. I've seen this play out in behavioral analytics work where each user essentially inhabits a different reality tunnel based on their interaction history. The idea taht absence of info is invisible but powerfully shapes what seems thinkable or normal in the first place actually explains alot about why collective action feels so fragmented now.
